Why did they never put such an awesome steak (sandwich) into ME?!?? Maybe I should share this pic with Bioware/EA…

Finally got to play the Citadel DLC. It was good, imho. What I liked a lot was how they made fun of themselves occasionally. Okay, it was a bit much sometimes, but I chose to enjoy it even though I wanted to facepalm now and then.

Story was okay, sadly very predictable most of the time, but still fun to play. The extra scenes with the various party members (including romance) vary in quality, some are quite nice, others are kinda funny and some are just plain stupid and/or pointless. The other additions range from useless to fun-for-a-time in my book.

All in all I still enjoyed it, most of all the party banter (the pieces that were done well, at least), but also the story itself.

At least the DLC really made me wanna play all Mass Effect games again, with all the DLCs (I’m still missing out on a few) - I’d really love to do a complete playthrough of the series, doing every side quest and just experiencing everything. I did a nearly complete run when ME3 was released, but yeah, I just love these games. I don’t think they’re without flaws, but I became so attached to Shepard and the Normandy plus crew… one day I want to relive the games as the most epic story ever told.

Yeah, one day… For now I really feel like finally mixing together another music video.

But first some strange thoughts I had while playing the Citadel DLC…

I was wondering just yesterday… don’t want to spoil the Citadel DLC for me, but is there also new content on the relationship between Shep and Steve?! That would be awesome! I ship M!Shep/Kaidan first and foremost, but I also like Steve and the romance between him and Shep, and felt it was kinda sad how he couldn’t see Shep again before the end. So I hope they also added something to the DLC, at least a small scene! Someone please tell me!

Yeah, I even wrote a fanfiction to those two back in the days (when I wasn’t distracted so much by other fandoms…) - it was a request by someone over at the Mass Effect Kink Meme (which I really should visit again to get my muse cracking). If anyone’s interested, you can read it here, though be warned: it’s pure smut with a sappy topping.

Must avoid spoilers to the “Citadel” DLC (which is hard)!! Still two more weeks until I can play it (which sucks)! But am also looking forward to playing the “Kasumi” ME2 DLC (which is cool).

This was a pic to test the watercolor crayons (background) I borrowed from a friend. This stuff is amazing so I bought some myself :3 Shep’s armor and face were colored with usual crayons. I love crayons! *random*

A WIP of a Shepard pic I’ll post soon (I really should synchronize the data on my PCs…), the second photo I took had such a glaring yellow tint, my correctional attempts resulted in… well, this… (although I think it looks kinda cool, personally) - and yeah the sketch beneath is a (bad) copy). I tend to copy my stuff before coloring it, since I’m always anxious about ruining the original drawing (at least if I actually like said drawing, happens rarely enough)

I need to play Mass Effect again, or get one of my friends to give it a shot. But first I think I’ll finally get me the Kasumi DLC for ME2, been waiting too long…

It really has been a long time since I drew this ‘series’, and this picture is already the last one I did (I also did a sketch of James, one day, but he looks really awful…). This scribble was done after an acquaintance of mine suggested I should draw Shepard in a more ‘peaceful’ way and not with weapons. So I decided to draw him like this, in a kind of retro-style, reading a book wearing glasses - and nothing else besides them (whatever the reasons for that might be…)

I really need more practice drawing (almost) naked dudes - and drawing people in general (clothes still give me a hard time, too), so I’ll try to start drawing Shep and Kaidan again. If anyone has ideas for poses or themes, I’m open to suggestions.

I decided to draw Kaidan wearing Shep’s hoodie. I have a canon as to why he looks kind of melancholic/lost, but it would probably require a fanfiction to tell the whole story… (maybe I’ll still write it someday)

And (kinda) bad news: I have a new fandom which I am very obsessed with right now, the Resident Evil: Damnation movie - okay, so I’m really just obsessed with Leon x Buddy (slash’em like hell), but still… so I don’t know… I still have many ideas for Mass Effect music videos, but we’ll see if my muse allows me to be creative in other fields, too…
